Designer-Developer
If you’re looking for more info on my product or web design & development practice
I made the decision, last year, to phase it out. I’m at a point in my life where I cannot wait another day. So I’m only taking on front-end development projects in order to focus on my photography.
I have one coding client through the end of 2022, and may collaborate with another designer mid-summer. I might be available for another project, I might not. Reaching me via my contact form is the best way to find out.
If you can include detailed project specs & a proposed timeline, even better ;)
I am that rare bird of a designer who knows code
I’ve always been very technical, with a knack for bringing fragments of ideas to HTML, CSS & jQ. Meaning I don’t need mockups (though they are helpful), and can even work without wireframes.
My clients sensed this about me, long before I did.
Eventually, I learned all the things: front-end, back-end, even UX.
User Experience because, design.
I was also a part of Chicago’s tech start-up scene for a few years, and know my way around agile and lean startup methodology.
Now you know my background and languages. WordPress is currently my framework of choice. (Wouldn’t mind working on a Rails or Node app, though.) And the more tech-savvy you have, the more you and I will get along.
If I can’t help you, maybe I know someone who can. Feel free to drop me a line if you need a referral.
